At Steam Stars, our mission is to help students leave the world better than they found it. We do this by helping, growing, and constructing a future we believe in through STEAM-focused learning and real-world problem solving.
At Steam Stars, students learn through a STEAM-focused program that combines foundational skills with opportunities to build complex projects. Learning is centered on solving real-world problems while working toward the mission of leaving the world better than we found it. We believe in helping, growing, and constructing a future we believe in. Our Fireworks identity celebrates creativity, growth, and the amazing things students can produce together.

Meet Our Founder
My name is Iesha Cole. This is my 13th year working in the field of education. I am both honored and beyond excited to be teaching and leading at Steam Stars. Go Fireworks!
To tell you a little about myself, I graduated from Wichita State University in 2013 with a Bachelor's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction for Elementary Students. I then continued my education at Grand Canyon University, where I obtained my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership Administration. This is my 13th year as an elementary teacher. I have previously taught 6th, 5th, 2nd, and 4th grade in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri. I was raised in St. Louis, Missouri, and I have a 21-year-old daughter. In my spare time, I enjoy reading long stories and biographies, journaling about my experiences, working in my garden, playing games, and traveling.
